Igor Strelkov: Those who came to attack us, are real fascists; we are forming a military council with all the commanders of Resistance

Defense Minister of DNR Igor Strelkov gave an interview revising the events as of 6th July.

Minister of Defence of People’s Republic of Donetsk Igor Gunmen gave an interview on the results of July 6.

«Last night was the breakthrough for the Resistance units encircled by Ukrainian army. They organized diversionary attack on the enemy positions which was implemented by our armored group. Most of it’s fighters, unfortunately, perished due to an error of the group commander.

From 80% to 90% of staff and 90% of the weapons from the city were taken out of Slavyansk. Families of soldiers and supporters of Resistance were also evacuated as staying back would mean death to them.

On 7th of July I intend to establish by order the Central Military Commission, which will include all the significant commanders of DNR. In this Council, we will negotiate further questions of DNR Defense and possibly part of the LNR. Also, till an appointment of Donetsk commandant, I am going to perform all his duties and assume the role of commander of the garrison.

Nationalist squads are already taking out their malice and rage for their huge losses on civilians Slaviansk, Kramatorsk Artemovsk. This confirms once again that the people who believe that if the militia will leave without a fight, it will save them from persecution, are sorely mistaken.»
